The new website continues on the creative upgrades made to DNS Made Easy’s Twitter & Facebook accounts earlier this year. The upgrade to DNS Made Easy’s site is the next logical progression in redoing their brand. DNS Made Easy’s site has exceeded many client’s expectations and has received very positive feedback from industry experts. In August of 2010, DNS Made Easy Launched “DNS Made Easy Network Status,” to keep users informed as to the status of their name servers.
DNS Made Easy (dnsmadeeasy.com), the world leader in IP Anycast DNS services has just released a new service that constantly reports the state of their network called “DNS Made Easy Network Status.” The site, which launched earlier this month, was created to keep their customer base informed as to the status of their respective name servers and to help pin point access problems to their sites.

Bryan Hughes, Tiggee’s VP of System Operations, states, “We noticed our support queue regularly has tickets from users that thought their issue was caused by a DNS outage, when in fact the problems they were experiencing were due to a local configuration on their end or a network issue related to their web hosting provider. To help provide them with up to the minute status of our name servers, we decided a status site completely off of our networks would be beneficial, so we launched ‘DNS Made Easy Network Status.’ Now our users can locate the problem faster and get back online sooner, without having to submit a support ticket.”

The site pulls results down from Pingdom in real time to keep users updated on a 24 x 7 basis, coupled with first-party information on the network from DNS Made Easy’s system administrators. To keep current on the state of the network; they’ve also included Administrator logs that users can use to track performance and uptime.

DNS Made Easy extends their Internship Program designed to give students real-world IT experience.
DNS Made Easy (dnsmadeeasy.com), the leading IP Anycast managed DNS service provider, has announced they will launch their Autumn Internship Program in September 2010 as part of their commitment to give back to the community. The purpose of the DNS Made Easy Internship Program is to allow students pursuing careers in IT an opportunity to obtain valuable experience in the field. Students are allowed to shadow senior employees in every part of the business, from sales to support, to the server rooms. Through a combination of classroom-style teaching and hands-on experience, DNS Made Easy hopes to provide students with a better understanding of DNS and other internet technologies as well as exposing them to the many facets of working in a technology-based business.

Interns will not be given direct access to any confidential information, customer data, or production equipment, however all of the interns will be able to gain invaluable experience in these tight economic times when many students are finding fulfilling and educational jobs more difficult to secure. Not only are these students able to earn money during their tenure at DNS Made Easy, but the experience of seeing the inner-workings of a successful Internet business is very beneficial to the interns’ growth.
