In August of 2010, DNS Made Easy launches new image and introduces a new animated spokesman.
August 19, 2010 — DNS Made Easy (dnsmadeeasy.com), the leading IP Anycast managed DNS service provider, recently launched a radical re-branding of their company website. Additional improvements and upgrades to the site and services are still planned for 2010.
The new website continues on the creative upgrades made to DNS Made Easy’s Twitter & Facebook accounts earlier this year. The upgrade to DNS Made Easy’s site is the next logical progression in redoing their brand. DNS Made Easy’s site has exceeded many client’s expectations and has received very positive feedback from industry experts. Large colorful icons and big beautiful header graphics grace the top of most pages. Everything has a fresh, almost whimsical look to it that’s professional, but not too corporate and institutional.
Beyond just the fresh coat of paint however, it seems DNS Made Easy is also making a new emphasis on media. A large java script window resides in the center of the home page containing not only links to areas of the newly redesigned site, but videos as well. The majority of the videos focus on services DNS Made Easy provides, but there’s also the surprise introduction of their new animated spokesman, Dean S.
When asked about the addition of character-driven animated spots, Steven Job (President of Tiggee LLC), stated, “We noticed the industry trending towards promotional video as a means of advertising their business, but we weren’t too impressed with the results they were getting. So we elected to throw some ideas out to a motion graphics artist and video editor who came up with the idea to try animated spots in response to the hokey, live-action web videos our competitors were producing. Within a few weeks we had a concept and a few scripts put together and Dean S. was born.”
The company has plans to produce more animation starring Dean and the other characters they’ve created and showcasing them on DNSMadeEasy.com and YouTube.com. Dean has also started his own Twitter account, (www.twitter.com/DNSDean), to reach out to users, and make announcements about upcoming videos and the company as a whole.
“Dean S. and his adventures will be used to showcase the difference of our product and services compared to our competitors. If a picture is worth a thousands words, then a quick animated story is worth millions,” stated Steven Job. “Many of our customers ask numerous times how can we offer similar or better enterprise DNS services for a fraction of the cost. By the use of Dean S. and his adventures we will be able to do this.”
