DNS Made Easy announces expanded network locations in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
DNS Made Easy (dnsmadeeasy.com), the leading IP Anycast managed DNS service provider, announced new and expanded collocation facilities as part of its continued effort to provide enhanced redundancy and geographical diversity for its IP Anycast DNS infrastructure. New facilities will be opened and existing facilities will be expanded and upgraded.
In New York, New York, DNS Made Easy has added additional infrastructure to compliment its existing location in Manhattan and has deployed equipment at a separate facility to provide additional capacity at one of the major peering points on the east coast of the U.S. Both locations in New York City will provide additional redundancy and faster response times for DNS Made Easy customers and their clients, and provide an optimal expansion location to existing infrastructure in the region. These locations provide excellent peering points to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Internet Service Providers.
In Los Angeles, California, DNS Made Easy has expanded its current infrastructure in the downtown area, which provides direct peering with multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 Internet providers. Additional capacity in downtown Los Angeles will build on the already impressive connectivity at that location and will compliment the existing infrastructure in place in San Jose, California. This ultimately provides additional redundancy and faster response times for DNS Made Easy customers and their clients.
The Dallas, Texas expansion will provide additional resources to handle mid-west traffic and has proven to be a well connected location for Internet connectivity in the region. DNS Made Easy has made plans to revamp the Dallas location by moving to a new facility with increased connectivity to major Internet carriers. The Dallas, Texas location will serve traffic mainly from the mid-west region of the United States and provide redundancy for existing servers in Houston.
European customers will see a major benefit from upgrades in Germany and the United Kingdom. DNS Made Easy will be adding a second facility based in London, which will provide direct peering with Tier 1 providers in the region. Expansion at the Frankfurt, Germany data facility will move traffic from primarily Tier 2 based connectivity to redundant connectivity through multiple Tier 1 providers.
Fast-East Asia Pacific customers will also see a major benefit from the expansion of the current facility based in Kowloon, Hong Kong to provide direct peering with Tier 1 providers. This will increase the existing connectivity at this location to provide faster response times from customers in the region.
