DNS Made Easy, the world leader in IP Anycast DNS services, recently added a new PoP in their world class DNS network.
The new PoP is located in Tokyo, Japan and was added to provide more speed and redundancy to DNS Made Easy’s world class, top rated, DNS network.
The addition of Tokyo to DNS Made Easy’s IP Anycast+ network provides end users in that region of the world an increase to speed, safety and network redundancy.
“The Japan region encompasses some of the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the world,” said Steven Job, president of DNS Made Easy, which has a 14-year leading up time, the best in the industry. “Our expansion to Japan is a response to increased demand and a need for superior DNS infrastructure.”
Tokyo is home to 51 of the top 500 business of the world. DNS Made Easy states that global brands require a DNS infrastructure that will help grow their brand. DNS Made Easy has provided enterprise IP Anycast+ DNS services for many years now and to many of the top brands of the world.
DNS Made Easy is continually investing in features and performance upgrades to provide users the best return on investment in the industry. The expansion of Tokyo to the proprietary IP Anycast+ network was automatically given to all DNS Made Easy clients at no additional cost.

The Tokyo location makes the 15th city where the company’s name servers are routed. More locations mean a better foundation for the company’s IP Anycast+ network.
“DNS Made Easy continuously invests in our core network,” Job said. “We are growing at record-breaking levels and we require a continual investment in the world’s strongest DNS network. Adding this new region to our Asia-Pac GTD configuration abilities is part of that plan.”
In 2014, DNS Made Easy upgraded the infrastructure in its San Jose facility, which aided in the inauguration of DNS Made Easy’s launch of its Seattle Point of Presence (PoP). In addition, DNS Made Easy recently launched its Oceania GTD region.
After years of managing and running networks all around the world, the DNS Made Easy team was confident the company could properly manage the name servers and complex routing situations prevalent in Asia-Pac routing. As soon as the network was put online end users in that region immediately saw performance increases.

In addition, this upgraded routing provides global load balancing, multiple levels of redundancy, decreased latency, and a true distributed response to denial of service (DoS) and DDoS attacks.
