DNS Made Easy Releases Q1 2012 Network Expansion Plans

DNS Made Easy, the world leader in enterprise IP Anycast DNS services, announced their Q1 2012 plans for network expansion. Already the premier network for DNS traffic, DNS Made Easy is further investing in their global infrastructure by making additional upgrades to their IP anycast network. The first two network POPs that will be upgraded in 2012 are San Jose, California and Frankfurt, Germany. These network expansions are a part of DNS Made Easy’s 4th generation DNS network deployment. With speed, redundancy, and reliability as primary goals, DNS made Easy is continuing to redefine the DNS industry with engineering ingenuity. This continuous drive to service perfection is one of the many reasons that clients make DNS Made Easy their preferred choice to over-priced and under performing alternatives in the enterprise IP anycast market.

DNS Made Easy offers a unique authoritative DNS solution compared to many competing enterprise DNS services in that they fully manage and own their own network and equipment, directly handle collocation contracts, hardware procurement and bandwidth contracts with a number of Tier 1 providers. This is a drastic difference to other DNS service providers that outsource some or all of their network services to other bandwidth carriers or providers. By maintaining strict control over every asset within their network, DNS Made Easy is able to offer services at the highest level of performance and lowest possible cost.

San Jose upgrades are following the installation of the POP in Q4 2011. In Q1 2012 the final migration of servers, previous server upgrades, and the activation of additional BGP sessions with Tier 1 data providers will be finalized. This improvement is being made to significantly lower DNS response times and add additional redundancy for clients on the west coast of the United States.

The Frankfurt, Germany POP upgrades involve migration to a new carrier neutral data facility within Frankfurt, along with a core network hardware upgrade. The systems at Frankfurt Germany have been part of the DNS Made Easy IP Anycast network for over four years, however provider expansion has made the location move a requirement. Network upgrades being made in Frankfurt will not only lower the DNS response times in Europe in general, but will also provide significant capacity increases to DNS Made Easy customer’s within central Europe.

DNS Made Easy has a long history of continually expanding and upgrading their network to increase the reliability, performance, and redundancy of their services. “Continual re-evaluation and re-design of a global network is crucial for any company that offers worldwide services,” explains Steven Job, President of DNS Made Easy. “Traffic demands and speed expectations of clients increase daily. At DNS Made Easy we are constantly researching potential advances in network and service offerings to remain the leading global enterprise DNS provider.”
