We’re Increasing Performance with an Exciting New Partnership

Tiggee partners with TeliaSonera

Reston, VA (PRWEB) November 17, 2015

Parent company of DNS Made Easy and Constellix, Tiggee LLC, announces a crucial partnership with Tier 1 ISP, TeliaSonera International Carrier who own and operate a leading global Internet backbone.

In a recent round table with DNS Made Easy clients, the network engineers of Tiggee explained how they conducted extensive research of all Tier 1 providers to improve the redundancy and performance of their IP Anycast + network.

In many markets, the DNS Made Easy network is already the top provider in speed, while in others it’s within the top three. “When it comes to redundancy and performance, TeliaSonera International Carrier shares these same beliefs with Tiggee. That’s why they were easily identified as the best global wholesale carrier in the world. When two businesses like Tiggee and TeliaSonera International Carrier share the same goals, it creates great synergy and makes for a long-term relationship. These factors are what prompted us to choose TeliaSonera International Carrier,” says Founder of Tiggee Steven Job.

Tiggee engineers have been using the Constellix Sonar platform to monitor all Tier 1 providers over the last few years and noticed that TeliaSonera International Carrier is consistently on top. Ranking high in uptime and performance, their network perfectly aligns with the goals and requirements that Tiggee strives to offer their clients.

“We are very pleased that Tiggee has chosen TeliaSonera International Carrier to handle their mission-critical traffic. In an age when Internet traffic is becoming increasingly ‘life-critical’, we work constantly to raise the bar in the connectivity industry, not only in terms of absolute network quality across our award winning, top 2 global Internet backbone, but also when it comes to understanding the real, everyday needs of our customers. At the end of the day, our customers’ customers ultimately define the meaning of quality and we see a need to move away from the traditional B2B ‘arms-length’ approach to service offerings in favor of a more end-user centric, B2B2C mindset.” says Ivo Pascucci, Vice President Americas at TeliaSonera International Carrier.

Job also mentioned that in dealing with most data providers, the process of settling a contract requires months of negotiations before providers can understand the Tiggee business model. “Working with Wes Cantrall and the team at TeliaSonera International Carrier streamlined the process. We are adding over 100 Gbps of connectivity across our PoPs at a record pace. It was a pleasure to skip the months of delays, and immediately focus on building our network,” says Job.

Engineers anticipate a full worldwide deployment within the next couple of weeks, with the possibility of normal procurement delays. This new addition to the network comes just a week after engineers opened two new PoPs in Amsterdam and Singapore that will also include TeliaSonera International Carrier connectivity.

As with most of the organizations that Tiggee chooses to align with, Tiggee engineers strive to make sure that providers understand the current industry trends and realize the massive amounts of traffic that the network handles on a daily basis. “Since our network is a common target of DDoS attacks, we make sure that all of our providers have a good understanding of current DDoS attack vectors and have the expertise to help mitigate such attacks when they arise,” says Job. “TeliaSonera International Carrier also has an excellent monitoring and scrubbing service at the Tier 1 level that we are excited to add to our already existing arsenal for handling DDoS attacks.”
